Yoo Ah in and Park Shin hye


Zombie film 'Alive' will be streaming on Netflix beginning September 2020.

Korean film fans are about to feel so much more alive as the hit zombie flick Alive is set to premiere on Netflix this September.

Starring Yoo Ah-in and Park Shin-hye, Alive shows a mysterious zombie outbreak taking over with main characters Joon-woo (Yoo Ah-in) and Yoo-bin (Park Shin-hye) becoming allies in their battle to survive. The film is based on the 2019 script Alone by Mat Naylor who adapted the script with Alive director Cho Il-hyung.

Joining Yoo Ah-in and Park Shin-hye in the cast are Jeon Bae Su (The King Eternal Monarch, The Wailing) and Lee Hyun Wook (Strangers from Hell, The Good Detective). The film was released in Korea in June 2020, and became the highest viewed film in the country since February 2020.

After reigning in the box-office charts its first three weekends, Alive garnered 1,901,099 admissions in South Korea.
